Project Summary

  • 66 total projects including road reconstruction, bridge reconstruction, road resurfacing, traffic safety improvements, intersection improvements and preventative maintenance.
  • 5 bridge replacement
  • 22 miles of pavement resurfacing projects, such as reclaim overlay, mill overlay and overlays.
  • 79 miles of preventative maintenance projects such as chip sealing and scrub sealing.
  • 2.4 miles of full urban and rural road reconstruction.
  • 30 miles of GRIP projects (Gravel Road Investment Program).
    1. Add additional gravel road surfacing, grading and surface stabilization.
  • Safety improvement projects: 
    1. High Friction Surface Treatments (HFST) on various county highway curves.
    2. Construct J-Turn at intersection of TH 169 and CSAH 25.
    3. Construct turn lanes on TH 37 at the intersection with CSAH 137 (Spirit Lake Rd.).
    4. Construct turn lanes on CSAH 21 at the intersection with CSAH 138 (Levander Rd.) and CR 656 (Lehto Rd.).
    5. Construct J-Turn at intersection of TH 169 and CSAH 109 (Nicols Ave.) and CSAH 103 (Mud Lake Rd.).
