About this Project
The St. Louis County Public Works Department has a proposed project on CSAH 44 ( Normanna Rd) from CSAH 4 (Rice Lake Rd) to CSAH 34 (Howard Gnesen Rd). Road scheduled for construction between May 11 and August 8 of this year. The scope of the project is to reclaim exiting bituminous surface and pave a new bituminous surface.
Location
CSAH 4 (Rice Lake Rd) to CSAH 34 (Howard Gnesen Rd)
Traffic Impacts
There will be no detour and all work will be completed under traffic.
Property Access Details
This project will be performed under traffic. Houses with no access to a side street will access their homes either by driving through the construction site, or walking on a marked path to their home when road access is not feasible. We will try and keep the amount of time that walking is required to a minimum. Persons with disabilities should contact Steve Krasaway to discuss special accommodations.
If you would like to have any additional work performed on your driveway please contact the Contractor directly.
Mailboxes
As part of St. Louis County’s safety policy, new mailbox supports & mailboxes meeting the Federal crash guidelines will be installed by the Contractor. The new mailbox will be installed in approximately the same location as your existing mailbox. The old supports & mailboxes will be deposited next to your driveway for possible salvage by the owners. About 2 weeks after installation of the new supports & mailboxes, any supports & mailboxes not salvaged by the property owner will be picked up for disposal.
