Hwy 133 (CSAH 133) - Bridge Rehab
About this Project
The St. Louis County Public Works Department has a proposed a bridge rehab project on CSAH 133 located 2.0 miles west of Meadowlands and spanning over the St. Louis River. The bridge rehab work is scheduled for construction between July 13 and September 4, 2026. The scope of the project is to mill and overlay the concrete bridge deck, minor concrete repairs, add approach panels, and approximately 145-feet of road work.

Traffic Impacts
Please utilize the posted detour and reference the map above. To the east, travel north on CR 200 (Meadowlands Trunk Rd), take a 90-degree turn left onto CR 193, continue onto CR 230, and another 90-degree turn left onto CR 741 to connect onto Hwy 5. Travel south on Hwy 5 for 3.0 miles until you reach CSAH 133 to complete the detour.

When and where will construction occur?
Construction will occur from mid-July through first week in September in 2026. Construction will typically occur between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, and work on Saturdays as needed to complete the project on time. No work will occur on Sundays.
How will I get to my house if I live on this section of roadway?
All driveway entrances shall remain open during construction activities. During construction, a signed detour route will be provided until the project is complete.
How will I know when there will be a disruption in access to my property?
Access disruptions are not anticipated but if required, the Contractor will contact you prior to any disruptions to access to your property.
