About this Project
The St. Louis County Public Works Department has a proposed a bridge replacement project on CSAH 25 located 11.0 miles NE of Chisholm and spanning over the Dark River. The replacement work is scheduled for construction between July 27 and September 26, 2026, but is only anticipating needing 4-weeks to complete. The scope of the project is to remove the existing culvert, construct (2) 12-foot precast concrete box culverts, and approximately 500-feet of road work.

Traffic Impacts
Please use posted detour and refer to the map above. Traveling north from the project, take a right onto CR 461 (Osborn Rd) for 1.6 miles. Take a right onto CR 668 (Sherwood Anderson Rd) and then another right onto CR 791 (Dark Lake Rd) to connect back onto CSAH 25.

Construction will occur sometime between the end of July through September in 2026. Construction is anticipated to take only 4-weeks once started. Construction will typically occur between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm Monday through Friday, and work on Saturdays as needed to complete the project on time. No work will occur on Sundays.
How will I get to my house if I live on this section of roadway?
All driveway entrances shall remain open during construction activities. During construction, a signed detour route will be provided until the project is complete.
How will I know when there will be a disruption in access to my property?
Access disruptions are not anticipated but if required, the Contractor will contact you prior to any disruptions to access to your property.
