About this Project

The St. Louis County Public Works Department has a proposed project on CSAH 78 (Beatty Road) from CSAH 24 to CSAH 115. The scope of the project is Bituminous Reclamation, Culvert Replacement, Grading, and Bituminous Paving.

CSAH 78 (Beatty Road) from CSAH 24 to CSAH 115


Traffic Impacts

A road closure will be permitted for 14 calendar days for culvert replacement between CSAH 24 and CR 540. A road closure will be permitted for 28 calendar days for culvert replacement and realignment between CR 540 and CSAH 115. Road closures will not occur simultaneously and will be at the dates chosen by the Contractor.


Mailboxes

As part of St. Louis County’s safety policy, new mailbox supports & mailboxes meeting the Federal crash guidelines will be installed by the Contractor. The new mailbox will be installed in approximately the same location as your existing mailbox. The old supports & mailboxes will be deposited next to your driveway for possible salvage by the owners. About 2 weeks after installation of the new supports & mailboxes, any supports & mailboxes not salvaged by the property owner will be picked up for disposal.
