About this Project
The St. Louis County Public Works Department has a proposed project on CSAH 44 (Pequaywan Lake Rd) from CSAH 37 (Jean Duluth Rd) to CR 272 (Briar Lake Rd) scheduled for construction between May 11 and August 8 of this year. The scope of the project is to reclaim existing bituminous surface and pave a new bituminous.

Traffic Impacts
There will be no detour and all work will be completed under traffic.
Property Access Details
This project will be performed under traffic. Access to your property may be limited for a short duration of time during reclaiming and paving operations. If you would like to have any additional work performed on your driveway please contact the Contractor directly.
Mailboxes
As part of St. Louis County’s safety policy, new mailbox supports & mailboxes meeting the Federal crash guidelines will be installed by the Contractor. The new mailbox will be installed in approximately the same location as your existing mailbox. The old supports & mailboxes will be deposited next to your driveway for possible salvage by the owners. About 2 weeks after installation of the new supports & mailboxes, any supports & mailboxes not salvaged by the property owner will be picked up for disposal.

Construction will occur from May through August in 2026. Construction will be occurring between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, and between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm on Saturdays. No work will occur on Sundays.

How will I know when there will be a disruption in access to my property?
The Contractor will contact you prior to any disruptions to access to your property to discuss the details on where to park.
